Project ‘Detection and identification of pipes and ditches using RFID technology in the UHF band (DETECT-TUBE)’

The main objective of this project is the development of a prototype for a location system and identification of trenches and precision pipes based on RFID in UHF band, which allows the recognition of the layout of the pipes and provides useful information (type of material, depth, discern between pipe or joint, manufacturer, company in charge of the work, date of installation and last inspection …) to facilitate, streamline and reduce costs in the management, maintenance and renovation work carried out by companies in the subsector of civil works and building construction.
