The “Open Minds” team, made up of high school students from Vilanova i la Geltrú (Garraf, Barcelona), has had the technological advice of Chatu Tech in the Panoptes project, with which they participate in the fourth edition of the Audi Creativity Challenge.
Audi Creativity Challenge is a competition aimed at high school students, which in each edition encourages young people to develop new ideas to address the challenges of today’s society, to transform the future through creativity.
This edition proposes the challenge of how to innovate in the social field to improve the future of the people. The “Open Minds” team, formed by third-year ESO students Irene Hernández, Paula Moll and Roger Ruiz, has designed the Panoptes project with the aim of improving safety in mobility and autonomy of people with visual impairment, by using active and passive sensors.
This is how the team presented its idea at the start of the competition:
They exhibit their project in more detail in the following video:
We wish good luck to “Open Minds” to reach the final of the Audi Creativity Challenge.
